In this episode of Hawtsome, Holden discusses the disingenuous approach many conservatives take on several of today's major political issues, including: Gun rights and regulations, banking regulation and state's exemptions, same sex marriage and equal rights, budget balancing, the drug war, and political sex scandals.
Additionally Holden points out how New York's governor is a bit late to the party on marriage equality, as Iowa has been there for the last three years.
The sex scandal leading to the end of Anthony Weiner's career is brought up in relation to several other much worse sex scandals of conservative politicians who are either still serving or currently running for office (including the presidency).
Finally, Holden discusses the Occupy Wall Street movement. Who the top 1% are and how they exploit the rest of us to expand their wealth and consolidate more power for themselves, and what we can do to help fix this and get the country back on the right track. Also touching on the disparaging remarks of the scam artist currently running for President: Newt Gingrich.
